SIERRA LEONE

Rainbo Initiative was the first provider of free medical treatment and psychosocial services for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in Sierra Leone. Known for its high level of confidentiality, use of reliable data to influence policy, and strong partnerships with communities, donors, and the Sierra Leonean government, Rainbo Initiative remains committed to providing free and comprehensive lifesaving services to survivors of SGBV through its network of 7 Rainbo Centres across the country.

In addition to our direct service provision, we combine community outreach, evidence-based research, and national advocacy to ensure that the change is systemic and sustainable.
